Central Pennsylvania Shortlines RPM (CPS RPM) 2.0 has been scheduled for July 18-20, 2025!
Our first event was held in July 2023 and was both well-attended and well-received. So we're back for more shortlines of central Pennsylvania!
We will be returning to the Bricktown Museum in Mount Union as our "base" of operations.
Friday will kickoff with an operating session in the afternoon on the museum's model railroad, which depicts the Pennsylvania Railroad's Middle Division and the East Broad Top Railroad. Following dinner will be two presentations.
As before, we will have space for attendees to show off their shortline-related modeling work. Some vendors may also be on-site with relevant wares.
Saturday will feature seven presentations. Nine in all!
Sunday will feature a tour of the Everett Railroad's shops, where the H&BTM 2-8-0 #38 is being restored. Afterwards, an excursion on the Everett Railroad will be offered. Other activities may be added as we get much closer and, as always, things are subject to change. Watch the web site at https://rpm.pennsyrr.com for the most current information.
